The Story of Mush
RIP Mush, My Loyal Companion
On the morning of May 21st, 2009, a stray cat unexpectedly leaped into the backseat of my car as I was preparing to leave for work. This serendipitous encounter forever changed the course of my life.
I offered my new acquaintance some canned chicken that day, and he continued to visit regularly. I later discovered from neighbors that he had hitched a ride in their U-Haul during their move from Niagara Falls to Buffalo, NY, only to venture out and find himself living on the streets once they reached their new home.

Every Saturday or “CATurday” as we call it, Mush’s Bottomless Bowl would love to feature shelter animals in search of a forever home, on our Social Media platforms (Facebook and Instagram). If you have a shelter animal deserving of the spotlight, submit a photo and any relevant details to assist us in finding them their forever home.
