On May 21st, the team at MBB will celebrate the 1 year anniversary of our 1st donation and what would have been Mush’s 17th purrthday, by visiting all of the organizations that we have pawtnered with over this past year. At each visit we will celebrate the year by doing what we do best…donating food and supporting the missions of those who work to provide a better life for the animals in their care. We are incredibly thankful for all of our pawtners and honored to assist those who aim to find furever homes for all of our fury friends.

Oᴜʀ ᴅᴇsᴛɪɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴs, ɪɴ ᴏʀᴅᴇʀ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴇᴛᴇ ᴏᴜʀ ᴍᴜsʜɪᴏɴ are:

Ark of Redemption

Cat Welfare Association

CHA Animal Shelter

Colony Cats (& dogs)

Columbus Humane

Columbus Pet Rescue – Ohio

Cozy Cat Cottage Adoption Center

For the Love of Jane (Lifetime Pet Wellness Center)

We have been incredibly fortunate to have so many people donate to our mission. After finishing 2024 with 2,185 lbs. donated, we have started the year out strong and we’ve already reached 3,947 lbs. in 2025. I never thought this idea would have such an impact and it continues to grow each and every day. We are honored to be able to assist our amazing pawtners throughout Ohio and 100% of the support MBB receives, goes towards the food we are able to provide.

This past year has helped to begin mending a broken heart and has also allowed us to make a meaningful difference, for so many animals in the area. We have witnessed the selfless dedication of countless individuals, who give their time and energy, to assure the animals in their care find their special person. Every donation we make has its own special story and each have inspired us to do more. We want to celebrate these organizations and everyone who has supported our mission this past year, with a day that would make Mush proud. A day full of giving, appreciation, and love is our way of thanking everyone who have allowed us to make a difference this past year and celebrate all that was and is yet to be 😻

As a passionate basketball fan, March has always been one of our favorite months, and this year is no exception, with even more reasons to celebrate. We are excited to announce the launch of “Mush Madness” and can’t wait to share the festivities ahead. Mush and I have long been supporters of the Cat Welfare Association, sponsoring many cats through their Guardian Angel fund. Mush even appeared in two of their calendars, ranking among the top vote-getters each year. I missed the entry deadline just before his passing, planning to try again the following year. Little did we know that he wouldn’t be with us after that. However, after a magical year honoring him with the mission of MBB, we aimed for the calendar hat trick. To our delight, he was once again one of the top vote-getters and was honored as Mr. March. 😻 At MBB, we will celebrate this month, his memory, and the incredible work that the Cat Welfare Association does and continues to do. While our friends at CWA have sold out of their calendars, we encourage you to visit their website and shelter to see their wonderful efforts in finding forever homes for the cats in their care. 😺 The team at MBB has also partnered with Buffalo Wild Wings to host a fundraiser at their location at 1710 Hilliard-Rome Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. With play-in games happening and the first round kicking off on Thursday, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Mush Madness! 😺🏀 During these hours, a portion of food sales will be donated to MBB. Just present your ticket (either printed or on your device) when you order. So, come enjoy delicious food, a lively atmosphere, and support our mission. Mush would definitely approve and will surely be cheering for any team with a cat-related mascot! 😻🏀😺🏀

While you’re out spreading holiday cheer and checking off your shopping list, don’t forget to sprinkle some love for our furry friends! 🐾✨
